      USP <2022> Tests for Specified Organisms including Salmonella, S. aureus, E.coli.

      AOAC Petrifilm™ methods.

      Positive and negative controls are used for method verification activities.

    Probiotic
    1. 1.
      Anaerobic or aerobic incubation methods.

      Methods found in several compendia including USP (United States Pharmacopeia methods), FCC (Food Chemical Codex), ISO (International Organization of Standardization), FDA-BAM (Food and Drug Administration-Bacteriological Analytical Manual), IDF (International Dairy Federation), etc.

      Most methods are for raw material and single strain materials.

      Testing blended strain probiotic samples can be complex. The best single method may take additional research and development. We contact the manufacturer for help determining the correct testing method for the blend.
