We are ready to work with you, and we're excited to say that it's now easier than ever!
To simplify the process of qualifying our lab, we’ve provided some helpful tools. In our qualification tools, we have included a self-audit of our lab.
How We Handle OOS Results
A common audit question we get asked is how we handle out-of-specification (OOS) results. As an ISO 17025-accredited lab, we follow strict protocols to ensure accurate reporting.
Before releasing results, we conduct a thorough internal review, considering key factors, such as:
-
- Reagent expiration dates and equipment calibration status
-
- Standard/reference material compliance with internal criteria for results reporting
-
- Accurate test specifications and calculations
-
- Sample condition and handling
Catching Potential Issues Early
We also work closely with analysts to investigate potential issues they may have had with the testing. Since contract labs may have limited sample details—especially with blends—sharing label information or ingredient lists upfront can help identify possible reasons for low results. By collaborating, we can resolve OOS concerns efficiently, saving time and frustration
